The Community
Huguenot is a beautiful historic community dating back to the early 1620s, when French Protestants fleeing from religious persecution first settled on Staten Island. They were known as “Huguenots” and would later come to establish the Church of the Huguenots. Acclaimed architect Ernest Flagg built the Reformed Church of Huguenot Park in 1924, which still stands today as a New York Historic Landmark. Along with this and other historic sites, Huguenot is home to parks and natural spaces like Bunker Ponds Park and Arbutus Woods Park.
The Homes
Huguenot is home to a variety of real estate options, including both historic and more modern homes, affordably-priced homes and luxurious multi-million dollar properties and estates. The neighborhood is comprised predominantly of single-family homes with small landscaped yards. Some homes enjoy larger yards or back to parkland. Luxurious waterfront homes can be found along Nicolosi Drive.
